What Are the Best New Statement Kitchen Products? Well, I just attended the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), held annually in Las Vegas. This year was my 12th year attending, but it was different—I was tapped by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) to judge the Best of KBIS awards. Each year, exhibitors submit their latest and most innovative products with hopes of winning the best in their category or Best in Show. I’ve written about kitchen and bath trends in the past, but this year, I had the opportunity to write from a different perspective. This year, one of the categories I judged was Statement Kitchen—the best new kitchen products designed to make an impact. While judges reviewed all submissions in December, only a select few made it to the finals.
